Happy Birthday Great-Grandma Nasib Kaur (Pardanima)

My Beiji turned 85 today and for a present Punam and I got her flowers and presented Jodh in a Tiffany Bag wrapped in a bow. She had a good laugh. I love my Grandma... she is always so happy... and she has been so over the moon everytime she comes over to visit. We all got together tonight and had cake.

Prabjot (my cousin) came over and helped me escape the house for a bit in his new car. We were able to go drop off my forms at work for my Paternal leave and then run over to E-Childern to pick up a Stroller. We picked up the Uppa Vista... its fantastic and convenient for travel (which is something we really want to do with Jodh down the road). I am really loving the fact that we have so much family near by to lean on and get together to enjoy these times.

I spent an hour looking at him today. Because of his Patrick Stewart aka Jean-Luc Picard style bald spot I feel like he will soon take command of the ship. I am truly expecting his first words to be "Make it so." But then you can look at it another way... I don't think I have ever seen a baby born with a "skullet"... if I dye his hair blond he could pass for a mini-Hulkamaniac.

I also love feeding him... its my time when he has to have some formula. Boy can he pound milk!! Where does it go!!! Oh ya... poof... out the other end in an hour. This kid can eat... and I don't know where he stores it. The best part about feeding him is how inebriated he looks after feeding. He is so out of it that he flops around like a little rag doll. I am still fascinated with his hands and feet... so huge. I figure he has got to match his old man in height at 6ft2.

As you can see... its 10:30 at night and I have just found some time to write. I know... I will get the pics on the blog going in a bit. Jodh has been doing very well. We have been able to nail his cues on the money. He has been a great baby and not the nightmare stories a lot of my friends have been telling me to give me a good scare. Except for the pee part... that is TRUE!!! TEJ WHEN CHANGING THE DIAPER PUT SOMETHING OVER HIS UNIT BECAUSE AFTER THE COLD AIR HITS... WA-BAM!! He has already peed all over my hands, arms, shirt and down my pant legs. He's hit Nanima and Punam too... so I dont feel that bad... or think he is doing it to me on purpose. I have this image in my head with his skullet and shredding his One-sy across his chest and screaming "What you going to do... brother... when I pee all over you!!" Go ahead and laugh... but today he got it back... he peed right into his eye. We all laughed so hard but serves the little goat right for peeing on his old man. (dont worry... we flushed his eye out the best we could). Its memories like this that makes me glad I am writing this blog.
