Happy Mothers Day Punam and all Mommies out there!!

Three hour rotation continues... Cry-Eat-Poop-Sleep. As long as it stays like this for a bit Punam will get her rest and I can continue to manage with the help from the Grandmas. I am liking this shift work thing. Nanima pulls the night shift and allows me to sleep all night and then Dadima shows up in the morning to lend a hand, while Nanima can get some rest. I seem to have become the poop expert and change his diapers... how did that happen!! Its really a lot of fun just hanging out and doing this. Punam is getting stronger and taking over some more of the parenting from me (actually wrestling it away... which is great... there is only one of him and I can't hog him all day!!)
We had some more family come over with my Pashi Auntie and Tarinder Uncle. Pashi Auntie helped raise me with my mom back in the 70's... she is like my second mom. My cousin Gurpreet really enjoyed holding him. The big prize was Pardanima (Great Grandma). She is always smiling... but this was definitely the biggest smile I have ever seen from her since my wedding day.
Poor Beamer... today she was trying to get some attention from me... she followed me around and finally I allowed her to cuddle up next to me while I fed Jodh. I'll take her for a little 5K run this afternoon. I took a picture that I will try to put up of Jodh and Beamer. I still don't have the time to download some of the great pics. Once I figure out a routine I will.
I also just got back from shopping and I had to pick the Lil'Guy some equipment. He now has a basketball, football, soccer ball and golf clubs. I know my body type and Punams... skinny and boney... (Thanks to Rajiv Mathur for the reminder!!)... if anything this kid should excel at these sports... and swimming. ;). I also picked up a hockey stick... if he really takes an interest... I wont stop him ;). His old man was not that bad...
